Reports & analytics

Where do I find reports?

The Reports screen is in the main navigation. It's available to Managers and Owners — Staff and Viewers can't see it.

What reports are available?

ReportWhat it shows
Sales by sourceRevenue, cost, and profit for each source over a date range.
Profit by itemPer-item sale price, cost, and profit — sorted high to low.
Inventory agingItems by how long they've been in inventory (30/60/90+ days).
Audit reconciliationMatches, missing, and unexpected items from warehouse audits.
Channel performanceSales and conversion by channel (eBay, Whatnot, etc.).

How long do reports take to load?

Small reports load instantly. Large date ranges or full-inventory reports may take a few minutes. Each report has a Refresh button to reload it.

Tip: Narrow the date range first. A 7-day report is much faster than a 12-month one.

Key metrics explained

What do the numbers mean?

MetricHow it's calculated
RevenueSum of all sale prices in the period.
CostSum of item costs (from their sources) for sold items.
ProfitRevenue − cost.
MarginProfit ÷ revenue, shown as a percentage.
Sell-throughItems sold ÷ total items in a source or bin.
Avg. days to sellAverage time between intake and sale date.

Why does profit look wrong?

  • Missing cost. If an item has no cost, profit can't be calculated accurately.
  • Source cost changed. Editing a source's cost recalculates profit for all linked items.
  • Reversed sale. Reversals are logged but excluded from profit totals.
Heads up: Profit only counts completed sales. Pending orders and unpaid invoices aren't included.

Filters and export

What filters can I apply?

Every report supports date range (7 days, 30 days, custom), source, channel, and bin/zone. Filters stack, so you can drill down to a single source and a single week.

How do I export a report?

  1. Apply the filters you want.
  2. Tap Export in the top-right of the report.
  3. Choose CSV (for spreadsheets) or PDF (for printing).

Exports reflect the current filters — change them before exporting if you want a different slice.

Tip: For very large exports, use a short date range. Exports over ~10,000 rows may time out.

Troubleshooting reports

My numbers don't match — what now?

  1. Check the date range first — it's the most common cause.
  2. Confirm reversals are excluded from totals (they always are).
  3. Compare the same period across two reports (e.g., Sales by source vs. Profit by item).
  4. If they still don't reconcile, escalate to a manager — don't edit historical data.

Why is a report empty?

  • No sales in the selected date range.
  • A filter is too narrow (e.g., a source with no items).
  • The report is still calculating — wait and tap Refresh.
Important: Reports are read-only. You can't edit them — fix the underlying data (costs, sources, sales) and re-run.
