Live shows

How does a show work?

  1. Create the show on the shows screen — the system suggests the next show code.
  2. Build a pick list: pick the items you want to sell.
  3. Physically gather items — tap picked on each as you grab it.
  4. During the show, tap sold on each item as it sells; mark unsold items not sold (they go back to their bins).
  5. End the show when done. Delete it if created by mistake.

A live status indicator shows whether the show is running and if anything's wrong. Green = fine; a warning means check the show details.

How do I create a show?

Open the Shows screen and tap Create Show. BizInv suggests the next show code (e.g., SH-1042). Give it a name, date, and optional notes, then save.

What is a pick list?

The list of items you plan to sell during the show. You add items to it before the show starts, then work through them live. Items stay in inventory until they're marked sold.

How do I add items to a pick list?

  • From the show screen: search or scan a SKU and tap Add to pick list.
  • From inventory: open an item and tap Add to show (choose the show).
  • Bulk: use the inventory filter (e.g., by bin or source) and add multiple items at once.

How do I mark items as picked?

As you physically grab each item, tap Picked on its row. This helps you confirm you have everything before the show starts, and it flags anything you can't find.

How do I mark items as sold during the show?

On each item row, tap Sold. The item moves into sold history and out of active inventory. If an item doesn't sell, tap Not sold — it goes back to its original bin.

Tip: You can mark items sold, not sold, and picked in any order. The show tracks counts live so you always know where you stand.

What does the live status indicator mean?

IndicatorMeaning
🟢 GreenShow is running normally.
🟡 WarningSomething needs attention — open show details (e.g., item missing from bin).
🔴 RedShow has an error (e.g., sync issue). Check details or ask a manager.
⚪ GrayShow not started or already ended.

How do I end a show?

  1. Make sure every item is marked sold or not sold.
  2. Tap End Show.
  3. Review the summary (items sold, revenue, unsold items returned).

Ending a show locks it. You can still view it in show history, but you can't mark items sold afterward.

Heads up: If you created a show by mistake and haven't sold anything, you can delete it. If items were sold, you'll need a manager to reverse the sales first.

Can I reverse a sale from a live show?

Yes — but only Managers and Owners. Reversing a sale re-adds the item to its original bin, and both events are logged in the item's activity history.

Show history & reporting

Where do I find past shows?

Open the Shows screen and switch to the History tab. Each show shows its date, status, items sold, and revenue.

Can I see which items sold in a show?

Yes — open any past show and view its item list. Sold items appear with their sale price and timestamps.

Where do show sales show up in reports?

Sales made in a live show are included in the Sales by source and Profit by item reports, alongside channel sales. Show names are attached so you can filter by show.

Ready to run a show?

Start from the Shows screen. If something looks off, check the status indicator or ask a manager.
